1. Introduction
 
Postal and Weather systems began in the eighties and nineties as the LEGACY companies investigated applying technologies to new business arenas as a defense conversion initiatives.

2.0 Weather Systems - NEXRAD

NEXRAD was primarily a Sperry Systems Management initiative with support from the Technical Services Division and St. Paul Defense Systems.

 


3.0 Postal Systems

 

 We started working on automation of Postal Systems in the late 80s. Dan Holste was the original engineering manager assigned to developing the hardware. This general road map is provided by Anil Deodhar. These technologies and systems have been transferred from St. Paul to New York. [lab]
