Legacy - Artifacts
1. Introduction
Webster defines ARTIFACTS as "An object produced or shaped by human workmanship; especially, a simple tool, weapon, or ornament of archaeological or historical interest."  For our Legacy, we've identified artifacts as publications, hardware, photos, web sites, books, and other items which document pieces of our history.  The Documents and Mementos pages supplement this page.

The sections below are being constructed as we take snapshots of contributed items.  Note that trinkets, plaques, awards, and desk top items are now shown on the Mementos page.  Those will not be kept so contributors may pick them up after any committee meeting.

2. Hardware - Modules, Parts, and Printed Circuit Cards

3. Models

The first models  contributed to the Legacy project were the NTDS computer family models from Lowell Benson.  In the late '80s, he rescued these from a marketing office in Red Bank NJ, which was being closed.  The Computer's page has a table which identifies and provides characteristics of these Navy and Marine computers.

This CPF ship model was donated to the Legacy project by Dave Kolling.

The P3C airplane model came from Jim Rapinac.

The UYK-43 model and other desk set items came from Jack Lavers.
